BROOKLYN - Police say they have arrested a homeless man for allegedly attacking a local reggae artist with a hammer.

According to police, Clifford Price, 44, attacked the 34-year-old man with a hammer. The Daily News has identified the victim as Dru Barnes.

Police say the attack happened last Thursday on Jefferson Avenue near Howard Avenue. Price has since been charged with two counts of assault.
