Police hunt for 2nd suspect in fatal shooting of NYPD cop

CYPRESS HILLS - Police searching for the second suspect in the fatal shooting of an NYPD officer have released surveillance video of the alleged accomplice. Officer Peter Figoski, a 22-year veteran of the force, was shot and killed early this morning while responding to an apartment robbery at 25 Pine St. in Cypress Hills. His partner was able to chase down one of the suspects, identified as Lamont Pride, 27, of Greensboro, N.C. Security video from a nearby bodega shows the second suspect in a T-shirt and dark pants. He is described as a Hispanic male with light skin complexion, between the ages of 24-30. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
