Police ID man fatally shot in East New York

Police say 33-year-old Ramel King, of Brooklyn, was shot around 2:30 a.m. at Williams Place and Atlantic Avenue.

EAST NEW YORK - Police have identified a man who was fatally shot in East New York early Sunday morning.

They say 33-year-old Ramel King, of Brooklyn, was shot around 2:30 a.m. at Williams Place and Atlantic Avenue.

Officials say they arrived to the scene to find King with a gunshot wound to his chest.

King was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
