Police identify man in robberies targeting elderly

Police have identified the man responsible for a string of robberies that targeted elderly women.

Officials say 64-year-old Clarence Jones is connected to at least five other incidents.

BROOKLYN - Police have identified the man responsible for a string of robberies that targeted elderly women.

Officials say 64-year-old Clarence Jones is connected to at least five other incidents. They say his oldest victims were in their 90s.

Police also say Jones allegedly hit an 83-year-old woman in the face last Saturday in Kensington.

Jones was arrested for burglary and assault in 1999.
