BROOKLYN - Police have identified the off-duty officer killed in a motorcycle crash in Brooklyn as Royston Ferguson. 

Authorities say the 35-year-old, from Nassau County, was driving a Ducati motorcycle on Rockaway Parkway when he smashed into the passenger side front door of an SUV. 

Ferguson was ejected from his bike and pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. 

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
