Police investigate 2 separate knockout assaults

Police are hard at work investigating two separate knockout attacks in Brooklyn. The first incident occurred at around 6:45 p.m. Saturday on Hendrix Street.

The second incident happened at around 2:45 p.m. Saturday on Elm Avenue.

BROOKLYN - Police are hard at work investigating two separate knockout attacks in Brooklyn.

The first incident occurred at around 6:45 p.m. Saturday on Hendrix Street. Police say a 47-year-old woman from East New York was ambushed by four teenage boys and a girl. They say the boys got in the woman's way while the girl punched her, knocking her to the ground. She was treated and released from Brookdale Hospital.

The second incident happened at around 2:45 p.m. Saturday on Elm Avenue. Police say a 33-year-old woman was walking down the street when she hit in the back of the head, causing her to collapse to the ground. She suffered swelling and bruising to her head, along with minor cuts to her hands and knees.
