BROOKLYN - Investigations continued Friday following the discovery of a woman's body in Owl's Head Park in Bay Ridge yesterday.

Police are looking to find out how the woman, who was found with severe injuries to her head, ended up in the park and how she was killed.

The body was found by a jogger at 9:30 a.m. Thursday near the Colonial Road and Wakeman Place park entrance.

Emergency personnel declared the woman dead at the scene. Police have yet to identify the victim, but say she was in her mid-20s and is a New York resident.
