Police involved in crash on Lafayette Avenue

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - Witnesses say a police car crashed into another vehicle on Lafayette Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard Monday.

The police car had its lights on and was running through the Bedford-Stuyvesant intersection when it hit another vehicle, according to surveillance video. The car then hit a livery cab that was parked on the road.

The fire department and ambulances were called to the scene. No one was injured in the accident.
