BROOKLYN - Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who injured a teenage boy yesterday in Bay Ridge.

The boy was hit around 5:40 p.m. at 86th Street and Fourth Avenue.

Councilman Vincent Gentile says the boy has a broken rib and a cut near his liver, but is expected to survive.

The councilman says that police are looking for a black or dark blue car without a sideview mirror.
