BUSHWICK - Police are searching for whomever was growing marijuana inside a Bushwick warehouse that was raided Wednesday.

Authorities were tipped off about the pot farm when a small fire broke out inside the warehouse at Knickerbocker Avenue and Decatur Street. Police arrived on the scene after firefighters put out the flames to discover the warehouse stockpiled with drugs.

A local resident says he witnessed as police removed eight garbage bags full of marijuana.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire and working to identify and find the pot growers.
