Police say they have arrested the man responsible for a robbery spree targeting elderly women in Coney Island.According to police, 43-year-old John Walston is responsible

BROOKLYN - Police say they have arrested the man responsible for a robbery spree targeting elderly women in Coney Island.

According to police, 43-year-old John Walston is responsible for robbing six women over the age of 70 within the past few months.

Officials say he would attack the women in apartment buildings and steal their purses or jewelry.

Police say Walston has been charged with several counts of robbery and grand larceny.
