BROOKLYN - Police are searching for a man they say struck a woman over the head in Bed-Stuy.

They say Josh Luteran assaulted the 39-year-old woman inside a home Tuesday around 1 a.m. on the corner of Bedford and Jefferson avenues.

Police say Luteran and the victim got into an argument, and he struck her over the head before running away. 

The woman was transported to Methodist Hospital in critical but stable condition.
