BED-STUY - Police are investigating a deli shooting tonight in Bed-Stuy.

They say a 40-year-old man was shot this afternoon inside the store at Atlantic and Buffalo avenues. A man who says he witnessed the shooting says someone wearing a hooded sweatshirt did not enter the store and pick his target, but stuck his arm inside the open doorway and started firing.

Authorities say the victim was shot twice in the chest and rushed to Interfaith Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. No arrests have been made.
