Police: Man drags woman into boiler room, rapes her

Police are searching for a man who they say dragged a 60-year-old woman to a building boiler room and raped her.

BROOKLYN - Police are searching for a man who they say dragged a 60-year-old woman to a building boiler room and raped her.

Officers responded to a 911 call reporting the rape in a building on Berriman Street Wednesday morning.

Investigators say the victim told them that a man grabbed her from behind, covered her mouth and dragged into a boiler room where he repeatedly punched her in the face and raped her. She told police the man was wearing dark-colored, maintenance-style clothing.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital. News 12 is told she's in stable condition.
