Police: Man fatally shot in face in Canarsie

A man was fatally shot in the face early Sunday morning.

BROOKLYN - A man was fatally shot in the face early Sunday morning.

Police say they received calls of shots fired near a home on East 102nd Street in Canarsie at around 1 a.m.

They say when they arrived at the scene they found a 27-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his face and torso.

The man was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.
