BROOKLYN - Police say a 32-year-old man was fatally shot in the head Saturday evening.

Police from the 73rd Precinct were performing a routine traffic stop before 9:00 p.m. when a woman flagged them down near Junius Street.

The woman told officers that two men were fighting near Atlantic Avenue and Sackman Street, and one of the men was carrying a handgun.

When police arrived at the scene, they found Christopher Tennison with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they are searching for a suspect.
