Police say officers are questioning a man in regards to a fatal shooting in Brownsville.

BROOKLYN - Police say officers are questioning a man in regard to a fatal shooting in Brownsville.

Police responded to a ShotSpotter in front of 630 Hendrix Ave. just after 4 a.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived, they found a 55-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A handgun was recovered at the scene. A 21-year-old man was also taken into custody for questioning.

The victim's identity will be released once his family has been notified.
