BROOKLYN - Police say a man robbed a Duane Reade on Myrtle Avenue Friday night.

Surveillance video from inside the store shows the suspect reaching over the counter and demanding money from the clerk around 7:30 p.m.

Police say he indicated that he had a weapon.

Investigators say the suspect is described as between 50 and 55 years old and 6 feet tall.

The suspect stole $442 out of the register, according to police. He then fled in a dark gray Toyota Camry.

Officials are asking anyone who recognizes the man in the surveillance video to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
