Emergency crews responded to a call at the corner of Bristol Street and Lott Avenue in Brownsville.

BROOKLYN - A man is in serious condition after being shot in Brownsville Friday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to a call at the corner of Bristol Street and Lott Avenue just before 3 p.m.

Police say the victim, a 26-year-old male, was shot in the neck and arm while sitting in his car. He was then taken to Brookdale Hospital and is expected to be OK.

Police have one person in custody in connection to the shooting.
