CANARSIE - The mother of two young girls found abandoned in Brooklyn yesterday is now in custody, according to police.

Authorities say Dalisha Adams, 26, left 3-year-old Domini and 2-year-old Dioni outside the Bayview Houses on Shore Parkway with only diapers in their hands. The girls knew their mother's first name, but were unable to provide officers with any other information.

The children were taken to Brookdale Hospital for observation and are expected to be placed in foster care.

Adams is charged with two counts of child endangerment.
