Police need help catching serial Brooklyn bank robber

BENSONHURST - Police in Brooklyn are asking for the public?s help in catching a serial bank robber.

Investigators say 48-year-old Todd Bowen is responsible for seven bank robberies citywide since March 28. At least five of those robberies took place at Brooklyn banks. According to police, Bowen enters a bank, demands cash from tellers and runs out. They say he is usually wearing dark glasses and carrying a black bag.

Bowen has been caught on several surveillance cameras.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
