BROOKLYN - Police say they hope new evidence could help them identify a body found on Shore Parkway.

Police found the body of a woman killed and stuffed into a garbage bag last week in the waters off Bath Beach. The medical examiner says she was murdered by a blow to the head and neck.

Anyone with information about the woman should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
