Police: Ocean Parkway hit-and-run suspect in custody

Police have a suspect in custody in connection to a hit-and-run in Midwood Monday. Police say the 68-year-old victim was crossing Ocean Parkway at Avenue

MIDWOOD - Police have a suspect in custody in connection to a hit-and-run in Midwood Monday.

Police say the 68-year-old victim was crossing Ocean Parkway at Avenue O at around 11:30 a.m. when he was struck by a blue Buick sedan. The sedan's driver then fled the scene.

The victim remains hospitalized at Lutheran Hospital.
