Police: Off-duty officer killed in collision

An off-duty police officer was killed Sunday night when his motorcycle collided with a car in East New York.Police say the officer was traveling south

EAST NEW YORK - An off-duty police officer was killed Sunday night when his motorcycle collided with a car in East New York.

Police say the officer was traveling south on Barbey Street when he was hit by a Dodge Intrepid at Pitkin Avenue.

No charges are expected to be filed against the driver of the car, police say.
