BROOKLYN - A police officer was among four people who were shot in Brooklyn tonight, according to authorities.

Police say the 35-year-old male officer was struck in the arm at 633 Park Pl., near Franklin Avenue. Two other people were killed and a fourth victim is in critical condition.

The shooting happened just blocks away from the West Indian Day Parade. No arrests have been made and it is not yet known what prompted the shooting.
