Police officer James Li leaves hospital after being shot Wednesday in Crown Heights

The man accused of shooting him, Rashun Robinson, is facing a slew of charges, including aggravated attempted murder. (2/28/14)

BROOKLYN - The officer who was shot outside a White Castle in Crown Heights on Wednesday is now out of the hospital and recovering at home.

Officer James Li was released from Kings County Hospital this afternoon. 

The man accused of shooting him, Rashun Robinson, is facing a slew of charges, including aggravated attempted murder.

Police Commissioner Bill Bratton says he spoke to Li last night and he was in good spirits.
