Police: Parents arrested after child found on Midwood street

News 12 Brooklyn has confirmed the parents of a 2-year-old Midwood child have been arrested for alleged child endangerment.Police say the toddler was found alone

MIDWOOD - News 12 Brooklyn has confirmed the parents of a 2-year-old Midwood child have been arrested for alleged child endangerment.

Police say the toddler was found alone yesterday afternoon near Avenue K and East 12th Street. The child's parents, 48-year-old Khalifa Nasir and 39-year-old Shazia Nasir, were arrested shortly after by police.

The boy was taken to the hospital, where he was examined. He is currently with family.
