Police probe death of toddler in Bed-Stuy

BED-STUY - Police are investigating the death of a toddler who was found unconscious Thursday night.

A 911 call was placed around 10:30 p.m. and emergency responders arrived in Bed-Stuy to find Arden Davis, 2, unconcious. Neighbors say they saw the responders frantically try to revive the toddler but it was too late. He was pronounced dead at Inter-faith Medical Center.

Police say foul play is a possibility. They say the boy's mother and her boyfriend were taken to the 79th precinct for questioning, although no charges have been filed.
