Police probe fatal stabbing of 16-year-old girl

Police are investigating after they say a 16-year-old girl was fatally stabbed early this morning.Officials say they found Kyanna Thomas, of Queens, at MacDougal Street

BROOKLYN - Police are investigating after they say a 16-year-old girl was fatally stabbed early this morning.

Officials say they found Kyanna Thomas, of Queens, at MacDougal Street and Saratoga Avenue in Ocean Hill at around 3 a.m. They say she was rushed to Interfaith Hospital with a single head wound and was pronounced dead upon arrival.

According to police, Thomas was carrying identification that belonged to a woman in her 30s.
