BROOKLYN - Police have released a photo of a suspect they say attacked a teenage girl on the subway platform in Brooklyn.

It happened on June 9, on the C train platform on Rockaway Avenue around 8 p.m. 

Police say the suspect punched the 16-year-old girl multiple times in her face.

They say she suffered bruising as well as a laceration and swelling to her lip.  

Police describe the man as being between 17 and 19 years old.
