BROOKLYN - Police have released photos of a serial chain snatcher targeting subways in Brooklyn.

The NYPD says that on Friday, a man was on a northbound J train and as it pulled into the Chauncey Street station, he grabbed a woman's necklace and ran off.

Police say the suspect committed a similar crime earlier this month on a Queens-bound J train.

The suspect is described as being in his 30s or 40s and 5 feet 11 inches tall.
