Police release sketch of sex assault suspect

CANARSIE - Police released a sketch of a sexual assault suspect Wednesday and are asking the public to help track him down.

Authorities say the suspect pulled a weapon on a 14-year-old girl in May and forced her into a backyard where he sexually assaulted her. In October, officers say the same suspect sexually assaulted a 20-year-old woman after following her into an elevator.

The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 35 with a large build.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
