Police release sketch of suspect in B60 shooting

BROOKLYN - Police today released a new sketch of a suspect who they say opened fire on a teen aboard a B60 bus.

According to police, the Wednesday incident was prompted by a staring contest between the suspect and the teen.

Investigators say the gunman fired three shots, hitting the 18-year-old victim once in the torso. He is expected to survive.

Police have already released surveillance video of the incident in which they say the suspect can be seen exiting the bus. Officials say the gunman opened fire on his way out.

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
