Police release sketch of suspect wanted in L train rape

BUSHWICK - Police have released a sketch of the suspect wanted for the rape of a woman at a subway station last week.

Investigators say a woman in her 30s was raped while leaving the L train's DeKalb Station last Friday at around 4 a.m.

Police say the suspect is a man in his mid-20s, around 5 feet 8 inches, weighing 140 pounds to 150 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes and a scar below his left lip.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
