SUNSET PARK - Police say they were called to the scene of a shooting in Sunset Park Saturday night, but by the time they arrived, the victim was gone.

Police say an unidentified male suffered a gunshot wound at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 25th Street.

Police confirmed that a gunshot victim walked into Methodist Hospital within an hour of the 911 call.

The distance from the scene of the shooting to Methodist Hospital is about 1.5 miles. It's still not clear how he managed to get there.
