BROOKLYN - Two parents were arrested Monday after police say they left their baby in a car while shopping at Kings Plaza Mall.

Police say the couple was inside for at least 30 minutes.

During that time, their 9-month-old was allegedly left unattended in a hot car.

Police say the father, Rolly Edouard, told them that he didn't want to wake the child up when the couple went inside.

Edouard and the mother, Whitney Europe, were both charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child.
