Police search Brooklyn creek for missing boy

STARRETT CITY - Authorities took their search for a missing 7-year-old boy to a creek close to his Starrett City foster home Tuesday.

Patrick Alford went missing Jan. 22 after going outside a Vandalia Avenue home with his foster mother to take out the trash. Patrick's foster mother says she turned around and he was gone.

He was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers. Police have posted flyers all around the Brooklyn area with information about him.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls are kept confidential.
