BROOKLYN - Police have released the identity of a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of a 14-year-old girl on Friday.

Authorities previously released surveillance video of the suspected shooter. They believe the suspect in the video is 19-year-old Rashawn Williams, who lives on Fountain Avenue.

The 14-year-old girl was shot on the corner of Sutter and Euclid avenues. They say the high school freshman was hit in the leg by a stray bullet.

She is expect to be OK.
