Police search for driver in fatal hit-and-run

DYKER HEIGHTS - Police are searching for the driver in a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Sunday in Dyker Heights.

Authorities say a 37-year-old woman was struck and killed at the intersection of Fort Hamilton Parkway and 76th Street at around 2 a.m. Residents say the strip of road is notoriously dangerous because cars try to beat the traffic light.
