Police search for gunman in fatal shooting

Police say they are looking for the gunman responsible for the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy early this morning.It happened just after 2 a.m.

SUNSET PARK - Police say they are looking for the gunman responsible for the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy early this morning.

It happened just after 2 a.m. at the corner of 56th Street and 3rd Avenue, according to authorities.

EMS took the boy to Lutheran Medical Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The identification of the boy is being withheld pending notification of his family.
