CROWN HEIGHTS - Police are searching for a man accused of opening fire in the middle of a street.

Officers say he fired multiple rounds at a passing car near Sterling Place and Nostrand Avenue on Sept. 11.

They say it's unclear why the gunman was shooting at the car, but the person inside was not hurt.

Police are asking anyone who has any information to call 1-800-577-8477.
