THE BRONX - Police are asking for help finding a Brooklyn woman with dementia who was last seen in the Bronx.

According to authorities, 50-year-old Donna Morales disappeared last Thursday in Downtown Brooklyn. However, they say she walked into the emergency room at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx Friday night, only to leave a short time later.

Loved ones say Morales may be off her medication and likes to spend time around bookstores and libraries. They were in the Bronx Sunday night hanging up fliers in hope that someone will recognize her.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
