BROOKLYN - Police are searching for two suspects wanted for a robbery at gunpoint.

Authorities say that two men got into a livery cab near 430 E. Eighth St. on Jan. 26 at around 5:15 a.m. One of the suspects put a gun to the driver's head and demanded money. A struggle ensued and the driver was hit multiple times in the face.

The suspects made off with about $500 and an iPhone.

One suspect is described as a male between 25 and 35 years old, 160 to 170 pounds and last seen wearing dark hooded sweatshirt. The other is also a male who wore a dark sweatshirt.
