BROOKLYN - Police are searching for a gunman who left two men dead in Brownsville early Wednesday morning. Authorities say 24-year-old Leonardo Saravia was shot in the leg outside his home at 456 Georgia Ave. just after midnight. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital and pronounced dead. They say 28-year-old Mario Mejia was shot in the head and died at the scene. Police say no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
