Police seek suspect in 2 BK armed robberies

BROOKLYN - Police are looking for a man who allegedly committed two armed robberies in Brooklyn in the span of a few hours last Saturday.

Investigators say the suspect approached a 63-year-old man near Sullivan and Van Brunt streets, pulled out a gun and grabbed the man's wallet.

A few hours later, police say the same man went up to a couple near Windsor Place and Prospect Park West. The suspect hit the woman in the face with his gun and fled with her purse, investigators say.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
