BROOKLYN - Police are searching for three men accused of attacking a Brooklyn man in an apparent hate crime.

According to police, 37-year-old Mario Vera, who is from Mexico, was attacked Sept. 23 in Bushwick and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Police say Vera is recovering at Beth Israel Medical Center.

Authorities are offering a $12,000 reward for information that leads to arrests and convictions in the case.
