Police sources: Suspect arrested in triple shooting

BROOKLYN - Police sources say that a suspect has been arrested in connection with a triple shooting in Brownsville last night that injured a 9-year-old boy.

According to the sources, Gilberto Vicente has been charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment for the shooting at the Seth Low Houses.

Police say the young boy and a 37-year-old man were each shot in the leg and were innocent bystanders to the incident. The 19-year-old victim is currently in critical condition.
