Police step up presence in Park Slope, Sunset Park

PARK SLOPE - Police are on high alert in Park Slope and Sunset Park after a string of sexual attacks in the area.

Police say there have been 10 attacks so far since March.

An NYPD mobile van unit has been sitting at the corner of Fifth and Prospect avenues, the scene of the most recent attack, for more than a week now.  There are also sketches of the three suspects that police believe are responsible for the attacks posted on the truck.

Some women in the neighborhood say the increased police presence does make them feel safer.

Police are urging anyone with information on the cases to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477.
