BROOKLYN - Students from a Sheepshead Bay pre-school and middle school were evacuated this morning after a bomb threat.

The incident occurred at P.S. 255 and W.A. Cunningham Junior High, located at the corner of East 17th Street and Moore Place.

Authorities say that they responded to a suspicious device on the third floor, but nothing was found.

The neighboring pre-school was also evacuated for precautionary reasons.

Students returned to their classrooms shortly after it was determined there was nothing dangerous in the middle school.
