Police: Suspect attempted to remove woman’s pants during attack on Bergen Street

A 24-year-old woman was assaulted on Bergen Street yesterday, police say.

BROOKLYN - A 24-year-old woman was assaulted on Bergen Street yesterday, police say. 

They say the suspect grabbed the woman from behind and attempted to pull down her pants.

Police say the woman screamed and the suspect ran away.

She was not injured during the attack. 

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
